This website is dedicated to those individuals who live in
the Sderot, Israel, area, and are within range of the thousands
of rockets fired from Gaza in the past several years. |
This website was created in 2008 and taken offline in 2018.
Because of the recent Hamas atrocities I am putting this back online for historical purposes.
Israelis have suffered attacks from Hamas for many years.

Homes in Sderot

I found the homes in Sderot to be surprisingly artistic,
not fitting the image of a frontier town. |
Almost every traffic circle has some form
of street sculpture. |
On some streets there is a feeling found in European towns.
|
Other homes are more fitting to a desert environment, and would not be out of place in Arizona.
|
Next to an office building under construction,
steel plates wait to be installed.
Not every home in Sderot is elegant. There are numerous blocks of buildings similar to these,
which are familiar to any former visitors to Russia or nations of the former Soviet Union.
